INFINITI Q30 ( 10/08/2016 – 27/09/2016) DEFECT: It has been identified that due to a manufacturing error at the airbag manufacturer the chemical composition of the initiator (the compound that triggers the airbag deployment) of a limited number of passenger airbag inflators may not be to specification. Therefore it is possible that an affected airbag may not deploy in the event of an accident.
Remedy
Recall all affected vehicles to have the affected airbags replace with a new quality assured component.
