HONDA ( 01/01/1999 – 31/12/2000) DEFECT: Under certain hard braking conditions the PCV (Proportion Control Valve) setting allows inappropriate brake force to be applied to the rear wheels. In these circumstances this may cause locking of the rear wheels leading to possible vehicle instability.

Remedy
Recall affected vehicles and replace PCV with a modified unit.
