FORD TRANSIT ( 28/09/2012 – 06/02/2013) DEFECT: It is possible that the material specification of the brake pedal pin retaining “R” clip is not correct. This can cause the spring tension of the clip to reduce. If not rectified there is a possibility that the “R” clip could become detached which can result in the separation of the brake pedal and the brake booster push rod. This will result in brake failure.
Remedy
Recall all affected vehicles and replace the "R" clip with a new quality assured one.
