FORD TRANSIT – ENGINE COMPARTMENT WIRING LOOM

FORD TRANSIT ( 03/01/2000 –  20/11/2000) DEFECT:  The engine compartment wiring loom may chafe on one of the engine cooling system thermostat housing securing bolts. In the worst case circumstances this could result in a short circuit and a fire risk.

Remedy

Recall affected vehicles to reposition and protect the wiring loom from chafing.
