FORD MUSTANG ( 23/02/2015 – 01/01/2015) DEFECT: There may be reduced clearance between the battery cable wiring loom and the exhaust manifold. There is a possibility that the wiring could contact the manifold and result a short circuit and possible engine compartment fire.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and apply additional heat resistant foil tape to the wiring loom and secure it away from the exhaust manifold using an additional clip fitted to the inner wing panel.
