FIAT MULTIPLA ( 01/06/2006 – 31/10/2006) DEFECT: Due to the incorrect profiling of a rigid fuel pipe at the quick fit connection with the flexible fuel pipe for the injection manifold. The possibility exists that a fuel leak may develop at the connector and result in a fire in the engine compartment.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have a locking insert fitted within the quick fit connector in order to prevent the connector from becoming loose.
