FIAT BRAVO ( 01/06/2007 – 30/06/2007) DEFECT: It has been identified that the possibility exists that a non conforming weld may be present on the vehicle’s rear cross member with the fixing bracket for the wheel axle hub. This non conformity in time; could cause the weld to break and crack the rear cross member which could have an adverse effect on the vehicle’s stability.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the subject cross member identification numbers and weld markings checked; to ascertain whether they conform. Should this not be the case the cross member will be replaced.
