FERRARI 550 ( 01/12/1996 – 30/06/1999) DEFECT: There is a possibility that the bolt locating inserts fitted to the magnesium wheel rims may crack if excessive torque is applied to the retaining bolts. This may result in the possible loosening of the affected bolts.
Remedy
Replace the original wheel rims with aluminium ones that do not have inserts. Also fit new wheel bolts.
