FERRARI 328 – POSSIBILITY THAT IMPACT DISTORTION TO FRONT SUSPENSION COULD RESULT IN SUBSEQUENT FAILURE

FERRARI 328 ( 01/01/1986 –  31/12/1988) DEFECT:  The lower front suspension arm mounting forks could deform after a substantial impact (for example after an accident) and should this condition remain unnoticed the eventual result could be the failure of the forks resulting in the collapse of the front suspension.

Remedy

Recall affected vehicles and fit an uprated stronger mounting fork.
