CITROEN ZX – FRONT BRAKE PIPE CHAFE CONDITION

CITROEN ZX ( –  06/10/1992) DEFECT:  It is possible that the front brake pipe may be contacted by the anti-roll bar link rod. In extreme conditions this may result in fluid leakage and partial loss of braking.

Remedy

The affected vehicles will be recalled and inspected for contact between the brake pipes and the anti-roll bar link. If no contact has taken place the pipe(s) will be re-set to ensure adequate clearance . Any pipes showing signs of contact will be replaced
