CITROEN C4 ( 01/01/2004 – 31/12/2005) DEFECT: Repeated ingress of saline water into the connections to the Electronic Control Unit for the Anti- Lock Braking system may eventually result in a short circuit that could cause a fire in the engine compartment.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the ABS block and strengthen the sealing of the electrical connections.
