CHRYSLER VOYAGER – HAND BRAKE MAY FAIL

CHRYSLER VOYAGER ( 01/08/1997 –  31/08/2000) DEFECT:  The self-adjusting mechanism may become out of range or fail to engage. Either condition could lead to the vehicle rolling away.

Remedy

Identify type of handbrake cable fitted and install short cable if not already installed. In all cases install lockout clip to the self adjust mechanism.
