CHRYSLER UK LTD WRANGLER – REAR BRAKE PIPES COULD FAIL RESULTING IN A PARTIAL BRAKE SYSTEM LOSS.

CHRYSLER UK LTD WRANGLER ( –  05/03/2008) DEFECT:  It has been identified that there may be insufficient clearance between the steering shaft and the rear brake pipes. Prolonged contact may result in the pipe becoming holed resulting in a partial loss of the braking system.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will have the brake pipes inspected and replaced if necessary. In every case an additional retaining clip will be installed.
