CHRYSLER UK LTD CHEROKEE – STEERING COLUMN PERFORMANCE DURING AN IMPACT MAY BE COMPROMISED

CHRYSLER UK LTD CHEROKEE ( 15/04/2011 –  14/05/2011) DEFECT:  Because a rivet may be either missing or incorrectly installed in the steering column in the event of an impact the steering column performance could be compromised.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary install a missing rivet or replace an incorrectly installed rivet.
