CHRYSLER UK LTD 300 – DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG MAY FAIL TO DEPLOY CORRECTLY

CHRYSLER UK LTD 300 ( 24/07/2003 –  22/08/2011) DEFECT:  The driver airbag inflator housing may rupture during normal airbag deployment events and metal fragments could injure components. This is more likely to occur if the vehicle has been exposed to high levels of absolute humidity for extended periods of time.

Remedy

On affected vehicles replace the driver's air bag inflator.
