CHRYSLER RAM TRUCK – DEFECTIVE ROLL OVER VALVE MAY RESULT IN FUEL ODOUR AND LEAKS

CHRYSLER RAM TRUCK ( 01/01/1994 –  31/12/1995) DEFECT:  On affected vehicles liquid fuel may pass through the fuel tank rollover valve (mounted in the fuel pump module) and fill the evaporative canister. This may result in driveability problems fuel odour and leakage from the canister.

Remedy

To correct this condition the fuel pump module mounted rollover valve must be replaced.
