CHRYSLER NEON – BRAKE VACUUM HOSE CONCERN

CHRYSLER NEON ( 01/01/2000 –  31/12/2001) DEFECT:  The brake booster vacuum hose may swell and leak due to oil contamination. This could lead to loss of power brake assist and an increase in engine idle speed. This may increase the stopping distance.

Remedy

Recall the affected vehicles and replace the brake booster vacuum hose.
