CADILLAC CORVETTE ( – ) DEFECT: The power steering hose is not manufactured to specification. Under extreme steering manoeuvres the hose may fracture and leak fluid. If this were to occur power steering assistance would be lost and vehicles fitted with Hydro-boos power brakes would loss power brake assistance. In addition if the fluid were to spray onto a hot surface this could result in an engine bay fire.
Remedy
Recall affected vehicles and replace hose with a quality assured item.
