CADILLAC CHEVROLET ( – ) DEFECT: On identified models it has been established that under certain conditions the steering locking mechanism may operate whilst the vehicle is being driven.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the control module reprogrammed and checks made to ensure adequate lock plate clearance. If necessary the lock plate will be replaced.
