BENTLEY MOTOR CARS CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR – FUEL MAY LEAK

BENTLEY MOTOR CARS CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR ( 04/12/2003 –  17/03/2008) DEFECT:  There is potential for road salt to corrode the outer surface of the fuel filter. In an extreme case this may lead to the filter housing becoming porous with a corresponding fuel leak which has the potential for combustion.

Remedy

Recall the affected vehicles to have the fuel filter replaced by the later designed corrosion-resistant coated filter and move the retaining clip.
