BENTLEY AZURE – POSSIBLE SHORT CIRCUITING

BENTLEY AZURE ( 01/08/1994 –  30/09/1997) DEFECT:  The main cable between the battery and the master switch can contact the edge of the body panel in the boot area. If the panel cuts through the cable insulation a short circuit may occur resulting in potential loss of electrical supply and a possible risk of fire.

Remedy

Affected vehicles are being recalled for inspection of the battery cable routing. Where insufficient clearance exists the cable will be repositioned. Additionally if the cable shows signs of wear it will be repaired or replaced as required.
