AUDI A4 ( 01/11/1994 – 31/12/1994) DEFECT: Size 288mm x 15mm solid front brake discs may have been fitted instead of 288mm x 25mm ventilated discs. Because of the extra clearance required for the ventilated diisc a brake pad could fall out of the caliper as the pads wear down.
Remedy
Examine the front brake discs on all potentially affected vehicles and rectify where found necessary.
