AUDI A3 ( 01/01/1998 – 31/01/1998) DEFECT: In isolated cases the securing brackets for the rear left and right seat belt retractors may be prone to fatigue cracking. This means that the seat belts for the outer rear seats may not provide the maximum level of protection under extreme conditions.
Remedy
Fit reinforcement plates at the belt retractors.
