AUDI A3 ( 01/06/2005 – 31/07/2005) DEFECT: The gas required to inflate the curtain airbag can escape gradually through a defective welded seam on the gas generator. In this instance the curtain airbag would fail to inflate in a collision.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the curtain airbag replaced.
