ALFA ROMEO 8C – LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL

ALFA ROMEO 8C ( 01/12/2007 –  31/05/2008) DEFECT:  It has been identified that the front suspension arm ball joint retaining nuts may not have been tightened to the correct torque. This may result in a metallic noise a vibration through the steering wheel and ultimately a loss of steering control.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will have the ball joint nuts checked for tightness to the correct torque and replaced if the former is not the case.
