MAZDA MPV – THE INJECTOR OIL SEAL ON THE CYLINDER HEAD COVER MAY BECOME DETACHED
MAZDA MPV ( 29/08/2003 – 07/11/2003) DEFECT: The injector oil seal on the cylinder head cover may detach leading to heavy oil consumption and eventually if the oil pressure warning light is ignored engine seizure.
MAZDA MPV – FOG LAMP SECURITY CONCERN.
MAZDA MPV ( – ) DEFECT: Repeated thermal expansion and shrinkage in use may cause the front fog light socket holder to become detached from the fog light case. As a consequence an exposed hot bulb may come into contact with part of the vehicle body or fittings.
MAZDA MPV – PULLEY MAY DETACH FROM THE POWER STEERING OIL PUMP
MAZDA MPV ( 04/03/2003 – 30/10/2003) DEFECT: The possibility exists that the power steering oil pump pulley retaining nut may become loose resulting if the vehicle continues to be driven in the pulley becoming detached. In the worst case due to loss of drive to the water pump the engine may seize.
