KIA SORENTO – THE PTC HEATER MAY OVERHEAT
KIA SORENTO (19/03/2012 – 06/10/2014) RECALL: Problem description: The PTC (positive temperature coefficient) heater in some Sorento (XM) diesel models can overheat due to potential damage of the connector terminal. This can lead to a malfunction of the PTC heater and a risk of fire.
KIA SORENTO (2015) – GEAR SHIFT LEVER
KIA SORENTO (27/04/2015 – 13/07/2015) RECALL: Problem description: There is a risk the automatic gear shift lever could be moved out of Park without the foot brake pedal being applied. If this occurs and should the parking brake not be activated a vehicle rollaway could occur.
KIA SORENTO (2020) – A FUEL LEAK
KIA SORENTO (01/03/2020 – 30/11/2020) RECALL: Problem description: It has been found that a fuel leak can develop on the diesel low pressure fuel line which is mounted to the engine.
