FIAT PUNTO – SEAT BELT PRE TENSIONERS MAY FAIL TO ACTIVATE
FIAT PUNTO ( 01/03/1997 – 30/11/1997) DEFECT: On some Punto vehicles it has been found that the seat belt pre-tensioners may fail to activate although normal activation of the seat belt is assured.
FIAT PUNTO – INCORRECT SPARE WHEEL
FIAT PUNTO ( 01/03/1994 – 31/03/1995) DEFECT: Some vehicles with alloy wheels may have been supplied with an unsuitable space saver spare wheel. If fitted this spare wheel could cause interference with braking system components.
FIAT PUNTO – CORROSION OF METAL BRAKE PIPES
FIAT PUNTO ( 01/01/1993 – 31/12/1997) DEFECT: Prolonged exposure to the effects of road salt corrosion may result in perforation of the metal brake pipes and a consequential loss of braking efficiency.
